Aloha Friday

It’s Aloha Friday over at An Island Life.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I’m also taking it easy on the posting! Here’s a simple question for you to answer in the comments :-) If you want to play along, post your question, head on over to An Island Life, and sign Mr. Linky.

If money were no object, what one thing from “the good life” would you do/want?

Definitely world travel for me. I’ve been to Hawaii, the Carribean, and a number of states in the US - but that’s it. I’d love to see more of this wonderful world that is out there! All the sites, and culture, and people, and food. Next on my list is a cruise to Alaska - can’t wait for my 40th b-day so that can happen!

I will ask for a personal maid just to do my laundry. That’s the one thing that I hate to do the most.

I love to travel as well so for me even if money is the object I will still try to find a way around it. :)

We are going to the cruise this May. It will be our 2nd cruise. I can’t wait! :) Hope you will get to go on your cruise soon!

Hmmmm THis is a good question, I would like to be able to take family vacations…..as many as I can plan…..if you know what I mean. Most vacations like spring break and Christmas break we stay home, so that would be something I’d like.

If money were no object, I would most definitely travel more and I would hire a personal trainer.

If money were no object I would take thousands of $100 bills, go into grocery stores, and hand them out to young couples who could only buy limited groceries because they don’t have enough money and then I would travel the world. That would make me smile and would also be the good life!! I hope my grandchildren can go on this adventure with me!

i would probably travel, too. but i would also like to help out people in need. don’t know what that would look like exactly, but would like to try. i guess oprah’s show has inspired me.

I would have weekly spa treatments (massages, mani, pedi, the works). I imagine if you had it that often it would get old but I would be willing to test that theory out.

I would have to agree with you that I would choose to travel. I really love to travel and have been to quite a few places, but would like to travel a lot more and have the luxury of staying several weeks in one place.

Travel would be mine, too! On a private jet!

If money were no object, after I paid all of my families bills and mortgages off, I’d do volunteer work with the Red Cross and I’d volunteer to go on humanitarian missions. Wait, I’m not done! I’d travel and spend an unlimited amount of time with my children and grandchildren.

Sorry but I can’t just pick one thing!
But aside from paying off all bills and mortgages, me and my family would do some serious regular traveling, I mean like Venice, France, Switzerland, you know REALLY travel!
I would also have built the ideal mansion/homestead for the family as well as start our family business (Free summer camp for underprivileged kids and a resort for others).
So I have some big plans for us!
    Blessings!

If money were not object I would pay off all bills and never ever charge anything again. I would put away money for my kids college. I would invest.

Living the “life” I would say that I would build my dream house (nothing too extavagant, I would want it to be “homey” and on acerage) and hire a housekeeper and nanny so that I could have some “me” time every now and then. Nice cars for the whole family would be a must too. I have a great “ride” but would love something a little newer.

I love travelling - seeing new places. So, it would have to be tavelling. I will perhaps decide on living in other countries for one or two years…

I would love to go on a cruise with my family. It would be an experience I’m sure we will never forget.

I also dream of splurging on designer bags. :)
