Aloha Friday
It’s Aloha Friday over at An Island Life!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I’m also taking it easy on the posting! Here’s a simple question for you to answer in the comments
If you want to play along, post your question, head on over to An Island Life, and sign Mr. Linky.
Where is your dream home?
My dream home is on a lake in northern MN. I love winter. I love the cold. I love ice fishing. And I love the swimming and water sports in the summer. I do not own the land for my dream home yet. My dream home is a whoppin’ 2500 square feet of no wasted space with a spectacular view of the amazing trees and a quiet calm lake, filled with the sound of loons and rust red water, tinted by the ore from the iron ranges.

Wow! I love the imagery of your dream home, what a great question.
My dream home is a small rambler with a huge covered lanai on beach front property in Hawaii….preferably Kailua, if you know where that is? Ahhhhh to dream!
My dream home would be big and roomy - lots of places to spread out and relax. Lots of light and spacious. Wireless internet for my blogging habit is a must. I would love to have my home on a nice, sandy, sunny beach where it is warm. I love the beach. The smell, the weather, the sand….love it!
Ok, this is tough. I too, want to live on a lake but after almost 13 years in WA I don’t think I can do the mosquitoes and humidity in MN during the summer. That being said, if it were my dream home I could put up with it. Has to be in the Northern half of MN though. I love the snow and don’t mind the cold so that would be ok. Eastern WA would be awesome so if I could find a nice lake there I would definitely build there too.
Hmmm…the house sounds great, so does the lake….but girl I cannot get on board with freezing. The older I get the more I understand the retirement age migration to AZ and FL…..omgoodness I could soo be one of those people one day. Very sad indeed.
Thanks for coming by–and ghost stories sound grand! xo
In the land of “no mortgage” deed in hand. I have a fantasy of a forest home some day.
My dream home would definitely include a big, modern kitchen, a big veranda and a lawn. Location would be somewhere where it’s always spring weather. Not cold, not hot but just right. Hmmm, Dubai in the winter months!
My dream home would be on Lake Michigan - I could sit and watch the view from my window for hours…
My dream home would be a big mansion next to the ocean with a gourmet kitchen and lots of room for our daughter to play in.
Oh, and it would be paid for.
Well, what a fun question! I think I’d love a big plantation style home somewhere in Kentucky or Tennessee.
Now, I’ll be dreaming about this all day.
Easy. My Dream Home is anywhere my husband, children and grandchildren are.
I have two locations…I can’t decide which one…either the Austrian Alps, Tyrol……or Hawaii
Even though I’m not a beach person, I would love to live across one. I love the sound of the ocean.
