OMG… I’m older too! Briggs and I are doing all those things that happen when your about to be 40! (we both have our first 39th birthdays this year) I’ve just had my first knee surgery (for a runner, skier, hiker this is common arround 40) and Briggs just hurniated a disk (3 people have told us “men do that at 40″). I’m just waiting for the little red convertable! LOL

I’m not older…yet. Although I’ve never been overly active, so my muscles tend to get sore pretty easily. It’s embarrassing actually!!

I’m not older…(I’m not! I’m not!)…and yet I still fantasize about an afternoon nap. I enjoy my time sitting and not doing anything. And I finally understand the meaning and joy behind, “I’m just RELAXING.”

So like when I worked out with a trainer last week on Monday and it took until Saturday for all the soreness to go away???? That leaves only 2 good days until I have to do it all over again. And then just when you think you have it down - they change the exercise and work the muscle slightly different. It’s kind of the same thing with the hangover too . . . The recovery time just isn’t as short.

Welcome to our world! It is frustrating. Did you know I was a head majorette and marched in parades and led the band and tried to outdance my partner doing the jitterbug later that night? Where did Susie go and then Sue become that old woman!
