I’m Annoyed
Today, I’m annoyed. Things annoy me from time-to-time . . . but after I blab about ‘em to a friend or Hubby, they can go away.
But for the past two days I’ve been really annoyed. I came to work yesterday angry - angry that people have to make things so friggin’ difficult. Then I had a great time at work - apparently being angry makes me go to town on my projects.
I thought I was over it. But today, I’m annoyed again. Why is it so hard for people to just make a decision and deal with it? Make a friggin’ decision already!!! Really, how many decisions have you made in your life, on a whim or after much painful and careful thought, that have totally backfired? Why can’t you just say “this is the way it is, deal with it, and move on.” Not everything has to be so difficult. Why does simple and easy seem to be such a bad thing these days?
And if you make a commitment, stick to it. One thing I cannot stand is when someone makes a commitment and breaks it.
So anyway, have I mentioned that I’m annoyed today?
Thank you for your ears ![]()

I am so with you on this one and the worst offender is my husband! He can’t make a decision to save his life! He has to research it, think it over, research some more, ask some questions, ponder some more, what if it to death, ponder some more. I prefer to make a decision and deal with it and he wants to make sure it is the most absolute perfect decision before he does anything. It DRIVES ME CRAZY! I can’t get anything accomplished!
Oh Deb - for as much as we know our husbands are different, we also know they share this one trait/fault/feature - call it what you will. Dad Gone Mad calls it “Analysis Paralysis” - made me LMAO!!!
I feel this way all.the.time. I can’t tell you how many times at work I just want to say “I don’t care what we do…just tell me what the decision is so I can do it.” Hope you are feeling less annoyed (or drunk) later!
Oh my goodness- I am incredibly annoyed today too. Maybe we could get together and just be grouchy and annoyed. And I like what Pam said too- I could use a drink as well
