Just last week seeing the most breathtaking sight...it had rained, sleeted and snowed and every tree, bush and blade of grass glistened...absolutely awesome! Listening to Christmas songs. Knowing my children have chosen marvelous partners to share their life with and that they are very happy. My grandchildren who make me smile. My husband wrapping his arms around me when we are in bed at night. Cooking and baking. Having a cup of hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps in it. Doing things for other people that make them happy. Planning trips and events. Having my children, their spouses and my grandchildren home! Looking at the Xmas star that my husband hung on the front of our new shed. A few of my favorite things are:
