All the pieces are joined and fold up into a flat 2x3 foot panel - very easy to put up, take down, and take with you if necessary - my 7 year old did it. You can configure it in a square, rectangle, or octagon. It even has stakes if you want to anchor it outside. They have 4 foot high ones as well . . . but we hope to have Duma outside in her kennel when we're not home when it gets nice. PetSmart - $75 :-) I sound like an infomercial!
