Life Decisions
Life decisions that people make are never simple. The importance of the initial decision should always be examined over the long run. Memories made and cherished are sure to be tempered along the way. Consider the following two choices…
Should I Get A Dog

Or Have Children

Oh my God! I almost had a heart attack when I first looked at the couch as you have a blue couch but then I realized that wasn’t your family room! Hysterical!!
Love
Mom
Uhm, if those are my choices- I pick….neither!
Oh, boy! I’m glad my kids have never (yet) created such havoc in my home!!
And hopefully that hasn’t happened in yours either!!
Well, your MIL loves both situations. First, I have two couches, not sure I like either of them, plus a beautiful wool area rug (don’t need), a wing back chair, pictures, lamps, pottery, etc. so our biggest problem would be cleaning up the wonderful children and putting the cutest puppy ever in a cage and ordering new flooring while we put up our feet, play some cards with your real mom and have the greatest and cutest hubby whip up some Margarita’s and hors d’oeuvres! Voila!!!!!
On the fleight home, we the MIL and real mom can brag about how great and always interesting, our grandchildren are–they take after both of us!!!!
Oh my Lord!! You could use that picture for a birth control ad! If I had to choose I’d say get goldfish!
I love Regina’s answer- a goldfish! Perfect choice.
Yeah, well, those of us that already have children aren’t really finding this all that funny.
But it is reinforcing our reluctance on the dog, so thanks for that!!
