I’m still feeling a bit yucko, but we have our Dine In Diva meal swap this Sunday at my house, so I had to make 7 freezable meals. Dude asked me after school the other day if I could help him with his PowerPoint. I told him sorry, not today (he has 2 more weeks to complete it) because I slept all afternoon and needed to start making meals for the food swap. So I got out all the hamburger to start browning it. Dude came over with a chair and an apron and said he’d do it. So my little Dude browned and rinsed all 15 pounds of hamburger for me! What a sweetie. And a good thing because my germs didn’t have to get near the food
The funny thing was that after he was done, he proudly proclaimed that “Cooking hamburger is fun! Can you tell me the next time we’re having dinner with hamburger in it so I can cook it? I LOVE cooking hamburger!”
Yes, he’s easy to entertain
That is soooo precious…soooo sweet!! I just love that kid soooo much. He is so pleasant, so eager to help, and he is soooo sensitive and able to pick up on it when someone is feeling down and then willing to do whatever he can to make them feel better. VERY rare for a 9 year old boy…YOU HAVE A REAL GEM IN THAT ONE!! And then there is your Princess who has equally wonderful qualities in other ways. She has such a bubbly personality and she can make you smile and feel so good. I absolutely love her smile, her contagious giggle, and she is so much fun. She is so loving and there is nothing better than having her sit on your lap and give you hugs and kisses. She also relates to others feeling bad which is so evident to me by the sad look she gets on her face and in her eyes. YOU HAVE A REAL GEM IN THAT ONE TOO!!! Wow…you are a very lucky mommy!!! Love…from another lucky mom!!!
Copy everything that your mom said. I have worked all day and I am exhausted. I agree with everything she said about your wonderful children. I couldn’t have expressed it as well as she did, but I agree with everything she said.
I love all of you so much. I love their mother. She is also a real keeper.
I hope you start feeling better.

Oh Please! Send him to my house! Maybe it’ll rub off on my girls. I’ve yet to crack the code on “cooking is fun”. Very cool. So, do you have hamburger every other night now? I think I might, if it were me.
