Eat, Pray, Love and Some Brew

Had GNO last night with a few friends. Tried out a new brewery in town - Colorado Mountain Brewery. I was pleasantly surprised! The beer was good, which is obviously key for a micro-brew place. The food was good - at least the sweet potato fries that I had were - and the BBQ chicken tacos and bison chili looked awesome! And the service was good . . . our waiter is a 5th grade teacher in town . . . kudos to him for doing school all day then coming to wait on people in the evening!

After food and beer, we headed across the parking lot to the theater for some Julia in Eat, Pray, Love. All I can say is GOOD movie! I got a little annoyed at her self-pity poor me attitude for a while, but she sucked it up and made plans to make some changes. It was a LOOONNGGG movie (started at 6:50 - we walked out at 9:20!) . . . but I never once wished it was over. It was just a good life lesson movie . . . and now I REALLY want to go to Rome . . . and Bali, but only if I get to stay in the exact place she got to stay in :-)

No real detailed review from me, other than I’d actually go see it again if someone asked . . . definite chick flick, but definitely worth it.

When I die, I want to come back as you. What a fun life you create for yourself. You would be the best friend to have because you are always finding great things to do.

I was ambiguous about the movie, but now I want to see it.
