And by WE, I mean ME. It’s embarrassing! I almost can’t admit it! But hey, I guess I can tell the Internet. The first step to recovering is admitting it, right? So here goes . . .
I just ordered 1,031 pictures. Just from our month of October. Yup, you read correctly, 1,031.
Now you must keep in mind that I keep 3 albums . . . 1 for Princess, 1 for Dude, and 1 for Me and Hubby . . . so it’s obvious that I could have NEEDED 1,031 pictures for OCTOBER what with there needing to be 3 copies of many of the photos. And, we did manage to cram all of the following activities into one little month . . .
- Trip to NM for the Balloon Fiesta
- Trip to Orlando to visit The Magic Kingdom, Sea World, Downtown Disney, and the Hotel Pool
- Hiking in 2 beautiful canyons close to home
- Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
- Bowling (Yes, this IS a photo-worthy event! So you just zip it!)
- Halloween
I will now add Scrapaholics Anonymous in my speed dial right next to the number for my Advanced Planners Anonymous group.
Wow! That is a lot of pictures. But- a lot of memories too! I hope you get around to that scrapbooking- then you can come do mine–I’m only 5 years and two kids behind!!
october was a big month for us too. 3 birthdays, fall in general (which I love) 3 trips to pumpkin patches, halloween! I started creating photo books online for me and then still scrapping the girls albums. I get further behind every day. Good luck with October don’t forget christmas is right around the corner!

I would pay someone to do scrapbooks for the kids. I do a digital one each year but not individually for the girls. Someday maybe - but I can’t do the paper one. My mind can’t even go there!
You are soooo good about taking pictures and some day Princess and Dude are absolutely going to love you for all of the memories!!! Love…Mom
