I Finally Did It

I tend to be a little late to the party. Quite frankly, the first time is always the scariest.

What will he think? Will he wonder what took me so long?

What about the other guy; the guy who sold them to me for $1 each a few weeks ago? I bought 5, but I haven’t used any of them yet.

How much will they pay me each time?

Yesterday, I finally did it . . . I joined the party.

I used my reusable grocery bags at King Soopers. And I LIKED IT! And he paid me 5 cents per bag to use my own bags.

Watch out . . . if I keep this up, I might have to stop shaving my legs and move to Boulder!

The City of Seattle has voted to ban all plastic and paper bags beginning Jan. 1. So, expecting this to hit the Eastside soon I have “tried” to use my reusable bags. I ALWAYS forget them in the car! And I realize it when I get to the checkout counter so I’m not going to go get them then. UGGHHH!

I was late too! I bought a bunch and leave them in my car….now if I could just remember to bring them into the store with me!!
