Hubby is gone again. Been a rough month with all of his travelling. The funny thing is, he’s not travelling for work really - he’s travelling for school! I know he has to do it, but we’ll all be happy as clams when we can call him Dr. Dan and he’s not gone all the time. Hopefully, he’ll have his doctorate in hand by the end of the year - keep your fingers crossed!
In other news . . . Princess had a bad dream last night and “couldn’t find her light” - ya, the same light she’s been turning on every night for the past 4 years - apparently the switch moved last night. Anyhoo - since Hubby was gone and I had a giant king sized bed all to myself, I let her sleep in my bed with me. The bummer was that Duma woke up at 5:30 a.m. this morning. I usually just tell her to charge and go back to sleep . . . but I didn’t want her to wake Princess up, so I got up and let Duma out. Since I was up, I decided to just continue on with my day - so I got dressed and Duma and I went out since it was before 0700.
Now I’m dining at the table outside with my two favorite kiddos on a beautiful morning in the forest. Gotta get good and charged up for our Tuesday Hike with the Costas today!

Right now we are just hanging out playing around. I need to get off the couch and get some laundry going, get the dusting done (the kids help) and then get them outside to run off some energy. Hope you enjoy your Tuesday hike!!
