Did you hear it? Did you hear the implosion in Boston last night? I did - from 3000 miles away! I have no idea why I felt compelled to post about a match up I care nothing about. But I guess when you’re a baseball fan, you’re a baseball fan no matter who’s playing.
But really - a 7-0 lead with 9 outs to go and the Rays can’t close the door. Giving up late game homeruns, intentionally walking people later to pitch to the guy who just hit the homerun . . . WTH? And I don’t care how good of a grab you make at 3rd . . . if you can’t make the throw, it’s not a good play. And throwing it away gives ‘em an extra base . . . make the great play, and make the throw, even if it’s late. Then at least they’re only at first!
Anyhoo . . . Game 6 is on in Tampa. Does anyone else watch baseball? Does anyone else care who’s playing? Does anyone else watch the games even if their team isn’t playing?
