Mouse Batteries, Keys, and Poop

IM between me (at work) and Hubby (at home) . . .

Hubby IM: Insurance adjuster just showed up unannounced to look at the roof.
Me IM: Uh oh. We didn’t take down the tramp!!!
HIM: Ya. I asked him about that. He said he sees it all the time and wouldn’t say anything.
MIM: Cool. What about the roof?
HIM: He says we have no hail damage. He’s coming back next week when the roofer is here, too, so they can chat about it. I learned a lot about roofs following him around while he inspected.
MIM: Did Dude follow you guys around and learn a lot about roofs, too?
HIM: No…he was busy looking for the mouse battery in the yard while Keira was taking Jason’s fort key out of a peice of Duma’s poop - long story.

I just about DIED laughing! For ONCE, I wasn’t the one home to deal with that. Bwaaahahahahahaha!!!

What is a tramp on the roof? What is a mouse battery? Did you have hail damage? The only thing I understand is the logical reason for why the fort key was in Duma’s poop! And yes…it is good for dads to experience dealing with those day to day issues!! Love…Mom

LOL! The trampoline is in the backyard. State Farm has been known to cancel insurance if they know you have a trampoline in the backyard . . . especially one that sits at a slight slant wedged between trees and has no net sides on it ;-) We had wanted to take the tramp down before the guy came just to be safe. Anyhoo . . . no tramp on the roof and no hail damage.

Keira wanted to play on their laptop. Jason said OK. When Keira went to do something “quick” he took the battery out of the mouse just to be a smart ass. She chased him outside to get it. He ran to his fort. She caught up to him when he was trying to unlock the door. He threw the battery so she couldn’t have it. She grabbed the fort key from him and stabbed it into a piece of Duma’s poo so he couldn’t have it.

Jason had to find the battery and Keira got the pleasure of retrieving the key and cleaning it.
