I’m not saying that because I’m done with them this summer. I’ve actually had the best time this summer, being home with them for the first time ever instead of sending them to summer camp every day while I work. It’s been a lot of fun - we’ve been out hiking, camping, biking, playing with friends and just doing whatever.
But these two lovely fun beautiful playful smart children . . .
. . . they have never been together this much. They get along very well and play together well and help each other and actually LIKE to be with each other. I know . . . shocker! But I think they’re ready to not be around each other all the time. They have done great this summer and have said many times how much fun they’ve had and how they like it so much better than camp (which they’ve never hated), but you can only be around someone so much.
One camping trip and one more weekend and school starts. Woo hoo!
Yes, we are having the same problem! Too much togetherness! I can’t wait for school to start!
That is an age old summer problem that we have all experienced with our children!! Nice to have summer vacation and nice to go back to school. Kind of like a vacation! Love…Mom
