I learned that . . .
. . . it can be 60 degrees one day and blizzard that night.
. . . I didn’t mind being snowed in at home to have to work instead of going to the office.
. . . as fast as it can dump 12 inches of snow in your driveway, it can get sunny and beautiful out.
. . . it’s tough to work when you’re excited about picking your Mom up at the airport later in the day.
. . . my kids will spend almost an hour coloring a banner for Grandma to see when she gets off the plane at the airport.
. . . my Mom is awesome with her Grandkids.
. . . Princess will force herself to stay awake any extra minutes she can just to spend more time with Grandma.
. . . it’s hard for kids to go to sleep when they are excited about spending time with Grandma.
. . . I need my kids to go to bed before 10:00 p.m., Grandma or not.
. . . taking Dude in for his 2nd eye exam in 6 months makes me nervous.
. . . while I know Dude will need glasses at some point, I’m really hoping it’s not yet.
. . . my Mom has developed an allergy to shell fish.
. . . a sinus cold and chest congestion can linger in my body for over 8 days.
. . . coughing fits at night make it difficult to sleep.
. . . I love having my Mom visit.
Stay tuned to see what I learned on Part IX of Spring Break!
